| Ah, Spring, Summer
right around the corner! Outdoors, sports, picnics and all the other
lovely things that are just waiting for us. Unfortunately, also,
waiting are all the BUGS! Being Certified Organic, we had to spend
much time and research looking for the best way to protect ourselves and
our animals. Thanks to very old herbal encyclopedias, we have come
up with a winner! Our bug repellant, is made from a base oil, (we do
use food grade or medicinal mineral oil, since it stays on top and is not
know as a type of oil that soaks in, so it helps to create a shield) and
with this we mix, Lemongrass Oil, Lavender Oil, Peppermint Oil, and Thyme
Oil. It is a great recipe and has kept us and our animals pest
free. It does not kill, it simply chases them away. It has a
light, pleasing aroma and with our family and the many who have purchased
it, we have found not many who object to wearing it. My
grandchildren have spent the last couple of warm seasons in absolute
heaven, with out the usual bites and itches! From the oldest to the
youngest, it is a very workable product. |

These prices include a mixture
made with light medicinal mineral oil, that can be misted, or with a heavy
internal use mineral oil that you rub where you want it.
We can mix with other base
oils, but price checking has made us a little shy. Grape Seed Oil
Extract, which is great for this and your skin is about $20 for 16 oz, if
you can find it in that size. For those of you who would like a
different base and want to mix your own, I sell just the Oils in a small
vial for $4.00.
