| Here on our Certified Organic farm, we also enjoy our
horses. They bring lots of entertainment, exercise and
challenges. Apart from these qualities, they also, add their own
encouragement to growing organically.
Horse manure has been found to be incredibly rich and one of the best
fertilizers to apply to all your growing projects. Our Certified
Organic horse manure is collected during the warm months, and depending on
your needs it is sifted to mix in well. We package in small one
pound bags, for your small house plants and boxes. Larger seed
sacks hold up to 50lbs. and we would be happy to sell it by the truck
load! We generally sell 2 year old, sifted for small garden uses, it
mixes in well and is organically broken down and ready to be used during
any phase of the growing cycle.
We do have manure from our cattle also, available, and are more then
happy to set you up. Some areas, where feeding rings for the bales
are set, are a great place to bag up this black gold! It has been
aged and is ready for any use. Raw manure, needs to cure or be
composted to prevent a burn from occurring on your plants. Since we
move the rings each season, you can be sure it is old and ready to go!
